Uniform guidance
We believe it is important for all students to keep up a high standard of appearance so that the school's excellent reputation is maintained in the local community.
Students must wear school uniform at all times while on the school premises and when travelling to and from school. They may also be required to wear uniform on school trips.
If uniform or PE kit costs are difficult for your family, please contact the school so that we can support with second-hand uniform under the Affordable Uniform Act 2021.
All students at Yateley School, other than the Sixth Form, wear distinctive clothing to promote a feeling of community and avoid rivalry around appearance.
A student wearing incorrect shoes may be required to wear black plimsolls for the school day. If there is a medical reason for incorrect footwear, please send in a letter.
Please label uniform, PE kit and belongings clearly so lost items can be returned quickly. Students should check classrooms, sports areas and reception for lost items.
Although there is no prescribed uniform for the Sixth Form, students are expected to dress in a way that would be acceptable to a member of staff.
